With snow melting in the mountains and the official start of summer weeks away, now is a good time to remind our winter loving audience about how to stay safe on the beach in the off season by knowing the dangers of rip currents and how to spot them.

Please please let this make the rounds between friends and family.  Even if people know how to spot a rip, refreshing one’s skills is never a bad idea. Stay safe out there this summer.
