Last year professional skier Kalen Thorien decided to get a little out of her comfort zone by completing a grueling 18 day trek across the Sierra, crossing some of the highest mountain passes in California. 270 miles later, Ms. Thorien completed the epic journey with a fresh perspective and some dirty fingernails.
