8 ski areas enjoyed closing days this past week and 20 remain open as we slowly march towards summer and the month of June.

The only thing that stands in the way of summer? The month of May, which should host pretty phenomenal skiing in California, Utah, Oregon, and Colorado. Up north, Sunshine Village and Whistler Blackcomb are still going strong but don’t sleep on Lake Louise either.
