Good news for Californians concerned with their water supply, there is 18 feet of snow piled up where bare exposed rock could have been found at the same time last year in certain places in the Sierra. Of course they aren’t out of the woods quite yet but the monumental snowpack is a good start. You may wonder why The Pacific Gas and Electric Company would have an interest in snowpack levels but if you think it through you might come up with a logical explanation.
