In a recent post to Instagram, Mark McMorris was pictured back on his feet alongside one of the godfathers of the sport, Jake Burton.

The Burton founder felt it more than necessary to pay a visit to McMorris after the world famous snowboarder endured a horrific snowboarding accident. When all was said and done– McMorris suffered a fractured jaw, fractured left arm, ruptured spleen, a pelvic fracture, rib fractures, and a collapsed left lung. Mark rides for Burton but you get the feeling the relationship here goes a bit further than film segments and signature boards.
