Mt Baker Ski Area has already seen the most snowfall in the USA thus far this season and it’s only going to get deeper say NOAA forecast models.
The snow is already falling at Heather Meadows and the storm is due to pick up later tonight with up to 24″ forecasted by Saturday morning. Wind will also be a large factor with the possibility of ridge top gusts reaching up to 70mph.

Snow showers should persist through Saturday with another 3-7″ of slightly cold snow. For that reason, Saturday morning should serve up the best conditions of the weekend.
