We’re sad to report that a skier died this past Friday after crashing into a tree at Loveland Ski Area.
According to the Denver Post, the fatality occurred when a 35 year-old man skied into a tree near the base of Lift 8. After being alerted by a witness, ski patrol arrived on the scene to find the man unresponsive. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and an investigation into the cause of death is ongoing.
