screen-shot-2017-02-13-at-7-26-41-amJackson Hole is back online today and fully operational after  the resort closed Wednesday after 17 electrical poles were downed in 100mph+ windstorm, and the Teton Village was declared a “state of emergency.” Here is the official statement from Jackson:

6:00 AM- Up and at ’em Jackson Hole, we’re back! Power has been restored to Teton Village and we are set to operate lifts and mountain facilities on our regular winter schedule today. *(Kids Ranch and Rendezvous Lodge slated to open tomorrow.)

After a week that delivered over 5 feet of snow to the upper elevations, Rendezvous Mountain is completely refreshed and ready to be explored. Expect mostly sunny skies above morning valley fog with temperatures rising into the upper 20’s and light winds trending from the North. Head high above the temperature inversion this morning and leave your mark on the fresh canvas coating the hills. It’s going to be a day to remember. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort would like to thank everyone who took part in the huge process of restoring operations to the Village.

The speed, cooperation and agility with which the community came together was incredible and we thank everyone involved for their patience, skill and effort. Time to Ski, baby!

…..hope all you Jackson Hole skiers and riders have well rested legs and aren’t still nursing hangovers…..lifts should be spinning anytime now!
