Davis Love III broke his collarbone snowboarding in Sun Valley, Idaho and is expected to be out of competition for 12 weeks. The USA Ryder Cup Captain and 21 time PGA Tour winner was trying to follow his 23 year old son, Dru, down the slope when he crashed which he considers “a cardinal sin.”

The Golf Channel reports Love was flown to Birmingham, Alabama, where a surgeon inserted a plate and eight screws into his collarbone.  He was scheduled to play the Sony Open in Hawaii this week but instead he will be nursing his injury.  Get well soon and stay rad!
