The getting is good at Mammoth Mountain right now and if we didn’t have work to do or pow to ski in our own home town, we’d be driving there right now.

Mammoth is one of the few ski areas in the Sierra that’s remained open today while this historic weather week continues to rage on uninterrupted. That fact is even more remarkable considering the Sierra’s highest ski area has received 184″ in the past six days alone!

  • Current storm total [last 72 hours]: 58 inches at Main, at least 101″ at the summit.
  • Snowfall totals in the last 6 days: 98-184″…up to FIFTEEN FEET!

Needless to say, Mammoth is the place to be right now in North America and with another 10 feet and a Blizzard Warning in the forecast– Sierra diehards have a lot to be happy about.
