If that bonus doesn’t exist, it looks as though you’re stuck with the drought until the day after the New Year reports Snow-Forecast.com.

As of today, The Local is reporting that some of the lower elevation resorts in the French Alps and Pyrenees have not seen snow in a month, leaving vacationing families wearing shorts instead of ski pants. These resorts include Massif Central, Vosges, and Monts Jura.

The premiere ski resorts aren’t immune either. Chamonix, Val d’Isere, and Meribel have all seen snow depths drop dramatically over the past month with some areas looking more like June than December.

*In the meantime, we ask all residents of the Western USA (and Japan) to pray for snow in the alps.
