Mt Baker Ski Area is currently under a winter weather advisory with up to 17″ forecasted along with cold temperatures (*for the PNW) that will hover around a high of 29°F at the base area.
The advisory is set to last until 4am tonight as the storm’s initial intensity tapers off. That said, expect some lingering accumulations throughout the weekend. The bonus to this whole storm is that those lingering snowfalls should come at very low temps, leaving a rightside-up snowpack in its wake– and don’t forget blower snow!
LET IT SNOW!
