A potent winter storm just hit Mammoth Mountain, leaving the eastern sierra blanketed in white!
Between the base area and the summit, the Sierra ski area is reporting between 39″-56″ in the last 24 hours on top of supple 54″-90″ (resort base vs. summit base) snow depths. And more snow could impact the region until around noon today…
LET IT SNOW!
Mammoth Snow Report:
DUMP ALERT! Over 4 feet of snow in the last 24 hours. Thanks to our high elevation, this monster storm dropped 3+ feet at Main Lodge and much more up higher, and it’s still coming down hard across the mountain. High winds are expected, check lift status for wind and weather holds.
