A dashcam has captured a strange ape-like creature dashing across a snow-covered road in Russia. The figure emerged just yards away from front of the car on a road near the Urals.
The stretch of road in the Republic of Bashkortostan, near the Urals, is famed for its Yeti sightings – which are mainly dismissed as hoaxes.
But driver Vadim Gilmanov was not so sure, telling TVNZ: ‘I mean it could have been someone’s cruel prank.

‘But on the other hand, who else could dash out so quickly in the middle of the night? In the middle of nowhere.’

The “sighting” was 162 miles southeast of Ufa, capital of the region also known as Bashkiria, some 22 miles from the nearest village.
