A new study by Cheaphotels.com has determined that Colorado is home to the top 3 most expensive ski getaway destinations in the country. The study looks at the least expensive double hotel room in town but does not factor in lift tickets and food.
Vail tops the list at $243, Aspen comes in a close second at $227, and a double hotel in Breck will run you at least $221. Park City is the next on the list with budget accommodations costing $184.
