At the foot of Monarch Mountain ski area a new development will bring 200-homes to a plot of land measuring just 19 acres.
Last week the town of Salida, Colo. approved a “massive” tiny home development in the heart of Colorado. Two hundred permanent-foundation homes, ranging from 200 to 800 sq. ft., will be built on a 19-acre parcel along the Arkansas River.
Dubbed, The River View at Cleora, the tiny home community will be among the largest of its kind in the country, according to a report by the Denver Post.
If successful the project could act as a blueprint for other ski towns facing a housing crunch.
