Not trying to sound like Billy Badass but this record seems like it could broken in a big enough parking lot after a long day on the hill if you had motorcycle leathers. Do you think 39.63mph is impressive?

“We set out to break the Asphalt Ski World Record, a long time objective since Jan first trained being towed by a car back in 2001. The previous record was held at 51.4 km/h (32 mph) by Erik Roner (USA) at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, USA, on 18 November 2008 for the MTV show ‘Nitro Circus’. Jan Farrell used standard production World Cup Gian Slalom skis from Atomic (length: 195cm, radius: 35m), as well as his race boots, Atomic Redster 170 stiffness. A motorcycle helmet & leathers were selected for this occasion. The Ferrari F458 with 578BHP was driven by Marc Sánchez from Formula GT in Motorland Aragón, Spain.”
