.50% of all checked bags go unclaimed and it just so happens some of that luggage is ski gear. So where does all that gear go? It goes to the Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro, Alabama, the only store in America that buys and resells unclaimed baggage from the airline industry. The store covers more than a city block and is a top tourist destination in Alabama hosting over a million visitors a year from every state and over 40 foreign countries.
Their 35th annual Winter & Ski Sale is coming up this Saturday on November 5th, so if you’re in the South and looking for smoking deals on ski gear you should put it on your calendar:
