That’s right, the new space will be located in the Lakeview Lodge at the terminus of the lift, allowing members and visitors alike to utilize a quiet workspace in between tram laps. According to the Tahoe Daily Tribune, the 800 sq foot coworking space will include 16 desks, high-speed internet, as well as a place to stash laptops when working stiffs need to get loose.

The new location is a part of a larger movement of coworking spaces in ski towns across the globe known as the Mountain Coworking Alliance. Right now, there are 11 coworking spaces in North America and Europe and members are allowed two days at any of the other participating coworking spaces.
