Wildcat Mountain, which started making snow on Monday, is hard at work blowing snow on the 2100’+ Lynx Run. They hope to open for top-to-bottom riding as soon as possible. Bretton Woods is on a similar timetable and with a little help from mother nature (it’s coming tomorrow), the two NH Ski areas have high hopes of beating out Sunday River, ME to the punch.

So far, neither ski area has announced an opening date but don’t be surprised if these two ski areas try their best to open this weekend.
Bretton Woods Snow Report
The 2016/17 ski season is coming and we are gearing up for a great one. Yesterday we teamed up with Ma Nature, she gave us flurries throughout the day into this morning while we had our guns cranking on our Range View trail. Do you have your season passes yet? Come and get them, our ticket office is open Monday-Friday from 9am-2pm. Keep checking back for more updates, and info about when those lifts will start turning.
Wildcat Mountain Snow Report
Our snowmaking crew fired up the system Monday night and has been covering The ‘Cat in white since. We are excited to see winter weather settle into The Notch this week with a fresh snowfall early Sunday morning and more in the forecast. Our snowmakers are prepared to take full advantage of cold temperatures, focusing efforts first on Upper Lynx before moving down the mountain. The plan is to cover Lynx trails from top to bottom and open as soon as possible with summit access to 2,100+ vertical feet of top-to-bottom skiing and riding. We’re making The Kitty pretty in white and hoping Mother Nature brings us even more snow to work with. Get ready, we’ll be skiing and riding before we know it. Winter lives at Wildcat!
