A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Tetons through tonight, with upwards of 9″ of snow for the higher peaks.
The snow will likely keep the upper elevations @GrandTarghee and Teton Pass ripe for a good early season. That said, early season snow followed by cold temperatures can lead to faceting, which could potentially create a weak snowpack that requires a lot of snow to heal. Fingers crossed, the snow continues.
