Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows have just announced that they will be kicking off the 2016-2017 ski season early. The video, which was just released, says Nov. 11-18 so we take it that’s Nov. 18th. Or is that sometime between November 11-18th?  Either way the video is a bit dramatic for an opening date that will probably be a month after Boreal’s Resort opens for the season.
