Wondering where and when to score the best fall foliage during the upcoming months? Well thanks to SmokyMountains.com, you can wonder no more.
The website’s interactive map takes time and location and spits back a map that details the epicenters of fall colors across the Unites States. From patchy to peak season, the map is by no means 100% accurate but it does give its readers a good idea of when and where to find the brightest reds, yellows, and oranges this autumn.
“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” – Albert Camus
Look for peak fall foliage to emerge in late September and ending around mid-October of this year at which point we’ll be more than ready to see the snow fly.
