Bode Miller is not happy with his former sponsor, Head. In fact, the rift between the two might actually prevent Bode from skiing in World Cup events reports the Courthouse News Service.

According to the news source, Head Skis created a covenant in their termination contract with Miller that prevents the legend from competing in world cup events on anything but Head Skis. Bode, who now skis on Bomber out of New York, is requesting that the court remove that stipulation. He later stated that this is his“last real opportunity to competitively compete in the World cup racing circuit and attract lucrative endorsements needed to provide for his family.” Along with Bomber, Bode Miller filed the suit against Head in a Los Angeles court on September 12, 2016.

In a letter sent to Miller, Head Skis demands Miller make a public statement by September 19th, saying he will not compete in the upcoming 2016-2017 FIS World Cup season. The lawsuit is ongoing and we will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
