Canadian Winter Weather Forecast 2016 – 2017

Winter is coming and the Farmers Almanac has it’s prediction / outlook / forecast for what kind of winter Canadians are in for. As you can see in the weather map above, Canada is in for both a cold and snowy winter and a warm and mild winter depending on where in the Great White North you live.

The 2016 – 2017 winter weather forecast is based on a formula that takes into consideration factors like the position of the planets, sunspot activity, and the way the moon affects the tides.

The publication claims to have about a 80 to 85 per cent accuracy, during years without an El Nino weather pattern.
