While Kelly Slater‘s wave remains the holy grail of the man-made wave world, the folks at NLand Surf Park are giving chase in the best possible way.

And while the wave doesn’t fully break, it’s still one of the more impressive waves created by human hands. Possibly the funniest part of the whole deal is how they’re using a chairlift motor and snowplow to create the wave.
