Kelsey Butt is lucky to be alive after a mountain lion attacked the 4 year-old during a camping trip this past weekend.

Kelsey’s mother Kera told reporters that angels are responsible for her daughter’s safety. Kelsey was later given antibiotic and rabies shots before the mountain lion was shot and killed by deputies of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. The Butt family is hoping to receive the some of the cat’s claws and teeth as a memory.
