A 34 year old woman from Nebraska was struck and killed by a vehicle during the bike portion of the Boulder Ironman Race according to foxnews.com. The Colorado State Patrol has confirmed she was struck while riding on a highway north of Boulder.  Details on the driver and exact circumstances of the accident have not been released but speed and alcohol are not believed to be involved.
