The name Glen Plake is synonymous with freeskiing. So when Glen Plake rides a pair of skis– you can believe he focuses on quality over quantity.

And while many think of K2 when they think of Plake’s trademark tomahawk, the name Elan is starting to be associated with one of the ski industry’s biggest heroes. According to a press release, Elan is now under contract to have some more time working with legend as their highly acclaimed RipStick series continues to evolve.
The move seems reasonable, seeing as Plake started riding Elan when they used joint distribution with Dalbello boots.

Surely, Glen’s input will continued to be taken seriously by the Slovenian ski company’s R&D department as they continue to make huge strides in the freeride world.
