Both federal and local law enforcement officials are in the midst of their second day of searching for a 16 year-old girl who went missing on Thursday in Grand Teton National Park.

Fauna Jackson of Cincinnati, Ohio was last seen by her Groundwork USA coworkers while working on a trail near Triangle X Ranch. She reportedly went to use the bathroom at roughly 8:45am and never returned. Her disappearance was reported to Teton Interagency Dispatch at approximately 10am.

In a public statement, public affairs officer for GTNP, Denise Germann said, “The Park Service is looking at any and all scenarios.” GTNP officials are currently being assisted by the Teton County Sheriff’s Department, the FBI, and Teton County Search and Rescue.
