One German tourist fell victim to the rocky slopes of Machu Picchu on Wednesday after deciding to have his picture taken next to a cliff located on the iconic Incan ruins. Unfortunately, Oliver Park of Germany decided to enter a restricted area and would later attempt to take the final picture of his life, mock flying off a huge cliff reports Fox News Latino.

Hoping to get someone else to take the picture, Park handed his camera to a nearby man. During the handoff, Park reportedly lost his footing and plunged 130 feet to his death. Authorities didn’t find his body till the following day. He was 51 years-old at the time of death.

According to seperate reports, a South Korean was taking a selfie above Gocta Waterfall in Peru when he accidentally fell 1,600 feet off the falls to his death.
