Cutting edge aerial technology meets the world of marine biology with the introduction of “The Snotbot”, a drone that can collect vapor samples from  whales as they exhale through its blow holes upon surfacing.
The samples can be used to collect information from chemical markers and give researchers a new insight into the lives of the whales. In this video SnotBot’s team goes on an expedition into the Sea of Cortez to collect samples and videos from these incredible creatures.
