Throwing it back to earlier this year when Sam Anthamatten went for a high speed rock skimming line during the big mountain day at the 2016 Skiers Cup in Grandvalira, Andorra.
If you’re not familiar with the Skiers Cup, it is an invite only competition pitting the best skiers from Europe against the best from North America. The teams are judged in two disciplines, Big Mountain and backcountry slopestyle. Each run is judged individually but you win and lose as a team. It makes for a highly entertaining event with national pride on the line.
