If you have never made that noise after a soul crushing impact, you don’t know this guys pain. I’m thinking that crumple zone on the front corner of that car might have just saved this guy from a much worse outcome.
Let this be a lesson to all the longboarders out there getting ready to attack the streets as the snow begins to disappear….pad up, use spotters and cellphones or walkies, and understand the consequences can be fatal when dealing with traffic (not only for yourself but for unsuspecting drivers, bikers, and pedestrians).
