According to The Teton Valley News, the new lift will be a fixed grip quad made by Dopplemayr. The new lift will increase uphill capacity in addition to creating easier access to the intermediate and expert runs located on the north side of the resort. Resort officials are hoping to have construction completed by opening day for the 2016/2017 season.

Construction should not affect any summer operations as Blackfoot has been traditionally closed during the summer months.
