Ever wanted to watch an old Warren Miller or Dick Berrymore flick at a drive-in movie theatre? Of course you have and so have we.

According to the Vail Daily, it looks as though those dreams are about to come true for Vail Valley residents as the Austin, TX based Blue Starlight Urban Drive-In is setting up a drive in movie theatre in Minturn, Colorado this summer. Starting July 6th, a 30 foot screen will display movies for paying customers in a 50’s style format that harkens back to the days of Pepi Steigler.

“Now not only is the blue Starlite Austin’s one and only drive in, and the most southern drive-in in the us with its satellite pop up location located in South Miami, but now it is also the only drive in in the high rockies”

The drive in will be located at Little Beach park with room for 40 cars in addition to a grassy viewing area for pedestrians. Admittance will run somewhere between $8-30 with deals for families, couples, and individuals alike.
