Good news for Colorado! According to NOAA, Colorado is right where they should be for statewide snowpack, sitting at 100% of average to date.

“After several days of clouds across much of Colorado, “Today’s MODIS Satellite Imagery” (NASA, UWSSEC, Google Earth) gives a visual indication of the boost in statewide snow pack from the Spring Storm System which slowly moved across the state over the past several days. The following graphics from NRCS also indicate how beneficial the slow moving storm system was in increasing the snow pack statewide, as well as in the Arkansas and Rio Grande Basins.” – NOAA Pueblo, CO
