Screen Shot 2016-04-28 at 3.28.25 PMLooking to get one last fix before the onset of summer? Here are the five New England ski areas you can still make turns at this weekend. If you can’t make it up this weekend you might still have a shot at getting some runs in at Killington, the only resort on the list that will not be closing for the season this Sunday.

“In case you didn’t know, we’re planning to re-open for one last weekend of skiing & riding. The plan, as of right now, is to spin the Jet Triple on Saturday 4/30 and Sunday 5/1, servicing the Jet trail and maybe the Haynes. We’ll know more as we get closer to kick-off, but what we do know as of right now is it’s business as usual up here and Mother Nature is still in our corner.” –  Jay Peak

“Join us for one more weekend of sweet spring turns April 30th and May 1st! Weather-permitting, we will have the Sugarbush Golf Club open too and it will be a Ski and Tee party, with skiing, riding and golf available for just $50.

We’re rolling with 4 trails served by the Valley House Quad, which will be running 10 AM – 5 PM. Snowball and Spring Fling will be groomed and Stein’s features long fun bump lines.

We got some fresh snow this week and the turn-earning has been tasty the last two days. Uphill travel is allowed at Mt. Ellen and Lincoln Peak. See our uphill travel policy for details.” – sugarbush.com

“Lift service on the Barker Mountain Express will run from from 8am to 4pm both Saturday and Sunday, and we’re expecting a few trails — updates coming soon.

Lift tickets Saturday will be $39 for adults, and $29 for teens, juniors, seniors, and college students, then we’ll have free skiing on May 1 as our traditional last day of the season.

All skiers services will be based on Barker Mountain Lodge both days, and please note that rental equipment will not be available.” – sundayriver.com

“We’ll be re-opening for one last hurrah this weekend, April 30 and May 1, so if you don’t already have plans to be here, now is the time to make them. Thanks to favorable temperatures all week, we’ve seen very little melting, and have been able to maintain a solid spring base—it won’t last forever, so be sure to come join us for our final weekend of spring shenanigans, before we bid farewell to the 2015/16 season on Sunday May 1st.”

Although it’s felt like Mother Nature has been rooting against us all season long, the weekend forecast suggests that she’s had a change of heart, or she’s just ready for some spring weather herself. Either way, we’re stoked for a classic spring weekend with bright sunshine and temperatures in the sixties to close out the season. So break out the Hawaiian shirts, Bermuda shorts, and sunglasses; this is going to be one weekend you won’t want to miss.”
