NOAA has released this map which clearly shows the the affect El Niño had on the 2015 -2016 ski season. “Sharing a couple of images displaying the current water year to date (October 1, 2015 through March 15, 2016) precipitation across the continental U.S. and a zoom in on the state of California. Areas that have received the highest precipitation, like the Pacific NW down through Northern California and the Southeast U.S., really stand out.” – NOAA
