It has been a really, really bad winter for east coast skiers. Stowe, Vermont is reporting their lowest snowfall totals since 1961 and Mad River Glen has already called Uncle on the season. The lackluster ski season could not be farther from what east coast skiers enjoyed during the 2014-2015 ski season that saw historic snowfalls in the region. To highlight the contrast in snowfall totals, NOAA has put together this map showing seasonal snowfall comparisons through March 21st.
