A nightmare situation unfolded on Monday afternoon after a boy fell nearly 46 feet from the Glacier Chairlift at Lake Louise Ski Resort reports Global News.

The boy in question is lucky to say the least as he only suffered broken bones in the fall. The safety bar was not down at the time of the accident. The boy in question was then flown via helicopter to the Alberta Children’s Hospital, where he is receiving medical treatment for “serious” injuries
