The folks over at USA Today have cast their votes and Squaw Valley is #1! The list was created by USA Today readers, who were allowed to choose from a Top 20 ski resorts selected by industry experts.

For many Tahoe residents, the #1 ranking comes as no surprise. This year’s abundant snowfall and cold temperatures broke the 3 year cold streak of marginal winters, which the Tahoe area had previously become known for. That snowfall has seemingly jarred many a skier’s memory as to how awesome skiing KT-22 on a powder day truly is. Looks like USA Today reader’s are some of those rad skiers.
