Next time you take a selfie, you may want to take a look behind you. The grim reaper might just be ready to give you the ole tap of the shoulder. According to mashable.com, that’s exactly what happened this past year as selfies were responsible for more deaths than shark attacks.

The main cause of selfie-related deaths was falling. Whether that be from a bridge or down the stairs of the Taj Mahal, these people were invariably chosen via Darwin’s law of natural selection. Trains held second place and taking selfies with bears and bison also made notable appearances when looking back at the life threatening selfie moments from 2015.
