It was a snowy December in the western US and it looks as though the snow is returning just in time for a little New Year’s refresh.
As far as Tahoe is concerned, things are looking pretty good. The Sierra should reap the biggest benefits with the west side of Lake Tahoe receiving significant snowfall. Look out for North Lake Tahoe resorts to have a seriously deep and seriously underrated powder day on deck this Wednesday as gale force southerly winds are predicted to hit the area and possibly move a ton of snow onto northern aspects.

So far the forecast looks promising and some areas could expect up to 16″ in some areas!
