Report From Powderchasers.com

Models showing an atmospheric river event setting up in the West with several storms on the horizon for the Cascades, Sierra, and Rockies!   All regions in the West are “Going off” with moderate storms aimed at the Cascades (Late today-Wednesday 6-10), Sierra (several 4-8 inch events), Tetons (Thursday night and Friday-4-6), Central Idaho (3-9 Wednesday-Thursday)Wasatch (Thursday AM through Saturday 8-12), Western Colorado, N. New Mexico (3-7 late this week-continuing).   Several feet of snow are likely in many of these areas by the middle of next week (Many weak to moderate waves turning heavier in the extended)

We see heavier activity late this weekend into next week setting up over the Cascades, Sierra, Wasatch, Tetons, central Idaho and Western Colorado.    “No whining allowed”   Might be a good time to call in sick and chase powder.

Models are now hinting at perhaps a 2-4 foot storm for the Sierra early next week (Late Monday-Wednesday)! That might hoist the Epic Alert!

Stoke Factor 8/10 especially late this weekend into early next week.
