Castle Rock, CO might just cut down the commute for Denver skier and snowboarders looking to get take a few laps around the park without driving all the way to the mountains. Castle Rock mayor Paul Donahue thinks the proposed 28 million dollar park would be a “Nice draw up and down the front range for people to come and learn to ski and visit that terrain park.” If you want to check out the only other park like this in the U.S. go HERE.

Planned features of the center include:

  • A 107,000-square-foor Snowflex skiing surface.
  • A Snowflex bunny slope.
  • A Snowflex tubing run.
  • A downhill mountain bike course.
  • A 15,000-25,000 square foot lodge with a restaurant / bar.
  • 200-250 parking spaces with overflow parking in the park.
