It is being reported that a 65-year-old skier went missing while skiing at Lost Trail on Tuesday and never returned home. Searchers and rescue workers scoured the area on Wednesday after the man’s wife first reported him missing on Wednesday morning. The mans car was found still in the parking lot with a fresh layer of snow on it.
A helicopter was called in on Wednesday to assist in the search after ski patrol was unable to locate the skier. Weather and darkness halted the search on Wednesday night, and the search is expected to resume at first light this morning.
The skier is reported to be an advanced skier who has been a season pass holder at the resort for many years.
