Weather.com has published an article on the 5 Coldest Cities in America. The list is kinda BS because Weather.com simply “picked the coldest locations in each of the states, then took the top 5 coldest of that list.” That being said, it is still kinda cool to see which states and towns are the among the coldest in the USofA.

“We examined the latest 30-year average annual temperature data from NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center to come up with our five coldest cities. We limited the list to cities with populations of at least 5,000 as of the 2010 census, with one major exception.

To keep this list from being dominated by one or two states, we simply picked the coldest locations in each of the states, then took the top 5 coldest of that list.”
