Stormy conditions in Colorado today will brings snow to the higher elevations. A foot or more of snow is being forecasted on mountain peaks higher than 10,000 ft.  This will be the first significant snow of the season for Colorado.

“It will remain cool and unsettled through Thursday. Showers will continue today with accumulating snow above 10000 feet. There may be a decrease in precipitation late this afteroon through tonight…However precipitation may increase again late tonight through Thursday as an upper level storm system moves across the area.” – US National Weather Service Denver/Boulder Colorado
