As winter approaches, I get more and more excited about the thought of fat snowflakes falling onto my yard, playing in knee-deep snow with my shiny shovel, and sliding down a mountain with planks underneath my feet. Of course, I realize I am not like most people who struggle to get up in the morning to clear snow and ice formations from the driveway, or cringe at the thought of wearing another layer of wool socks because one pair just isn’t enough.

Lucky for all you readers, I am writing this post to keep both crowds happy. For those of you who are not looking forward to cold snowy mornings, TaskEasy is a great tool you can use from the warmth of your bed. With the tracing tool shown below, you’ll get to virtually clear your driveway, while we quickly assign a local contractor to follow your command.

Have you been checking out the pictures and ignoring the 2014 snow statistics? I knew it! But I think it’s worth looking into the numbers for some interesting facts. The top 5 resorts with the most snowfall days in this list were: Mt Bachelor with 100 days, Grand Targhee with 94 days, Jackson hole with 86 days, Big Sky with 86 days, and Snowbird with 77 days. The total snowfall average for these resorts was calculated at 450 inches, but did you notice how much Mt Bachelor beat this number by last year? They surpassed the average with double the snow, counting 38 inches a single snowfall! Generally a tire size measures 28 inches, I hope Oregon residents ordered a snow removal service ahead of time that morning!

According to El Nino predictions this year, lots of snow is on it’s way, which resort do you think will get the most snow this upcoming 2015/2016 season?
